In a cake decorating workshop, we dive deep into how you can build a cake, ice it, decorate and store it.
We’ll be going through everything step-by-step starting from the most reliable base recipes to have under your belt for making cakes and buttercreams, how to layer and stack cakes, how to pair different flavours and textures and finally teach you how to decorate with fresh fruit and flowers.
You’ll leave this workshop with an understanding of how best to structure a celebration cake, plan your cake making schedule and the confidence to decorate elegantly with fresh fruits and flowers -but most importantly, you’ll leave with a cake totally unique to you to share with your loved ones!
What the workshop includes:
3 x 6 inch cake layers
Selection of jams, curds, buttercreams, candied and fresh fruit as well as seasonal flowers for decoration.
